Sahmyook University proudly announces its recent achievement of a ‘5-year accreditation’ following a rigorous assessment during the ‘2023 first-half university institutional evaluation,’ organized by the Korean Council for University Education and the Korean University Accreditation Institute.

This evaluation system rigorously examines higher education institutions, using an absolute evaluation approach to ensure they meet essential criteria, particularly in terms of educational quality. A total of 185 general and industrial universities, excluding education-focused institutions, underwent this comprehensive evaluation.

Sahmyook University’s exceptional performance across all five evaluation domains, encompassing university philosophy and management, curriculum and teaching-learning, faculty and staff, student support and facilities, as well as university performance and social responsibilities, has earned the institution a prestigious 5-year accreditation, extending its validation until 2028.
